Pausing your business

Slow season, or just need to step back for a while? You can pause your business instead of deleting it. Nothing is lost, and switching back to a hiring manager account picks it right back up.

What pausing does

• Your business page and every job post are hidden from the public and from job search right away.
• Everything is kept exactly as it's: your jobs, applicants, messages, history, and settings.
• Switch back to a hiring manager account any time to reactivate it and pick up right where you left off.

Where to find it

Pausing is one of three choices offered when you switch to a job-seeker account, under "What happens to your business." The other two are handing it to a teammate or deleting it.

If your business has an active paid subscription

Pausing isn't offered while a subscription is actively billing, there would be no owner around to notice it renew. In that case your choices are to hand the business to a teammate (their card takes over billing) or delete it (which cancels the subscription).
