Deleting your account

Deleting is meant to be final, so before anything happens the Danger zone shows you the exact, counted picture of what you're about to remove, and asks you to confirm by email. No surprises.

You see the real numbers first

On Settings → Danger zone, we list precisely what deletion touches, with live counts pulled from your own account, for example:

• Job seekers: your profile and resume(s), every job application you have sent, your messages with employers, scheduled interviews, offers received, saved jobs, and businesses you follow.
• Hiring managers: your hiring profile, plus (depending on your choice below) your business, its job posts, every applicant and their full history, scheduled interviews, and teammates' access.

Whatever the screen shows is what goes. This cannot be undone once confirmed.

Subscriptions are handled honestly

• A personal (job-seeker) subscription cannot be handed to anyone, so if one is active you cancel it from Billing first, unused time becomes account credit. Only then can the account be deleted.
• A business subscription is resolved by what you choose for the business: hand it to a teammate and the subscription (and its billing) moves to them, or delete the business and the subscription is cancelled outright. See what happens to a business you own.

How to do it

1. Go to Settings → Danger zone and review the counted list of what will be removed.
2. If you own a business, choose whether to hand it to a teammate or delete it.
3. Type your email to confirm it is really you.
4. Enter the 6-digit code we email you, that email step means a borrowed session alone can never wipe your account.
5. Confirm, and it is done.
