Moving to a new email doesn't have to mean losing access to your account, or trusting the change to just a form field.
How to change it
Go to Settings and, under Email address, choose "Change email."
Enter the new address.
We send a six-digit code to the email currently on your account.
Enter that code to finish the switch.
Why the code goes to your old address, not the new one. It proves the change is really you: nobody who happens to know your new email can move your account without access to the inbox you already use. The code expires 10 minutes after it's sent, and you can cancel a pending change anytime before you confirm it.

If the address you want is already tied to another Hire30A account, you'll need to free it up there first, or reach out and we'll help sort it out.
